Custom Embroidered Patches
100% Embroidery
When you choose the 100% embroidery option, you’re getting the best-looking patch possible. This is because the entire patch will be covered in thread. Instead of using a base color, called a twill, the patch will be made using a much wider variety of colors, and the overall patch will have the gorgeous sheen that comes from the specialty thread that they are stitched with. Because the whole patch will be stitched out, 100% embroidery is also the most accurate option for your patches. When a patch is fully embroidered, small details are easier to get in. If you want the best of the patch industry, then 100% embroidery is the way to go.
up to 99% Embroidery
This is where we use a twill canvas for the primary or majority background color. Then the rest of the design is embroidered onto the canvas. By doing this we lower the amount of embroidery needed and lowers the cost of the patches. The finish is not as nice looking as it would be with full embroidery but gives it that traditional patch look, we have all known to recognize. Depending on the look you would like to achieve even intricate patches can be made with canvas twill for the majority fill color. However, for a nicer look, feel, and overall quality it is recommended to choose the 100% embroidery.
100% Fully Embroidery Patch will have the background filled with embroidery giving it a finished look. 75% Coverage will have lettering and design and twill background. 50% Embroidered Patch will have a canvas twill for the primary background color and design.
Measuring Size
Measuring Size
Embroidered Patch Math: We take the measurements by adding the width plus the height at the furthest most points and then divide them in half.
For Example: patch that is not round and measures 3″ Wide & 8.5″ High would equal 5.75″ total. W+H/2= Total Size
